The Valley at Frutig Farms

McKenna + Justin’s wedding at The Valley at Frutig Farms was everything you’d want from a rustic Michigan wedding—beautiful countryside, a gorgeous barn, and plenty of space to celebrate with the people they love. Both McKenna and Justin had their own getting-ready spaces before the day began, and once it was time for portraits, we took full advantage of the property’s beautiful acreage. The natural setting gave us so many opportunities to step away, explore, and capture the two of them together against the relaxed, rustic backdrop of the farm.

The celebration continued inside the barn, with dinner downstairs before everyone made their way upstairs for a night of dancing. There’s something special about a barn wedding once the sun goes down—the warmth of the wood, the lights, the music, and a room full of people completely caught up in the celebration. McKenna + Justin’s day had that perfect combination of beautiful details and genuine moments that made it so much fun to photograph.
