FAQ
How many hours of wedding photography do I need?
Most couples choose 6–8 hours of coverage. Six hours can work well if you want the ceremony, portraits, and the main reception events covered. Seven or eight hours gives us more breathing room for getting ready, details, and more of the reception. If you’re not sure, I’m happy to help you figure out what makes sense for your timeline.
How many photos will we receive?
You can expect approximately 50 professionally edited images per hour of coverage. Every wedding is different, so the final number may vary depending on your day, but I focus on delivering a complete gallery that tells the story without filling it with unnecessary duplicates.
Do we have to order prints through you?
Nope! Your gallery includes full-resolution digital downloads with personal printing rights. You can order professional-quality prints directly through your gallery, but there are no required print purchases and you’re welcome to print your photos wherever you choose.
Do we need a second photographer?
Not necessarily. I photograph most weddings on my own, but a second photographer can be helpful for larger weddings, multiple locations, or when you want simultaneous coverage—like both partners getting ready at the same time. A second photographer can be added for $50 per hour.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely. Wedding pricing includes locations within 30 miles of Detroit Metro Airport (DTW). For venues outside that area, additional travel fees may apply. Any permits, licenses, parking, or location fees required for photography are the responsibility of the client.
Can we add engagement photos?
Yes! An engagement session can be added to your wedding photography for $200. Beyond getting some great photos together, it’s also a chance for us to work together before the wedding so that when the big day arrives, I’m already a familiar face behind the camera.

Wedding coverage is booked in consecutive hours and is generally limited to eight hours. Most couples choose 6–8 hours of coverage.
A **four-hour minimum applies to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday weddings.** Shorter coverage may be available Monday–Thursday, making it a great option for courthouse ceremonies, elopements, and intimate celebrations.
**No required print purchases.** Your finished gallery includes full-resolution digital downloads with personal printing rights. Professional-quality prints are available to order directly through your gallery, but you’re also welcome to download your images and print them wherever you choose.
